Acer Aspire 5745G, Intel i7 diventa portatile
Nuovo portatile in casa Acer che ha presentato ufficialmente il nuovo Aspire 5745G, caratterizzato da un design interessante e dall’alta tecnologia, con prestazioni da urlo offerte dal processore Intel QuadCore i7!
Un notebook altamente tecnologico e sottile: è questa l’essenza del nuovo Acer Aspire 5745G, che grazie all’Intel QuadCore i7 M720, 6GB di RAM ed una ATI Radeon HD 5650 da ben 1 GB di memoria integrata offre prestazioni in grado di incenerire moltissimi computer desktop attualmente in commercio.
Punto forte di questo nuovo portatile del colosso orientale è lo splendido display in formato 16:9 in Full HD con retroilluminazione a LED, che offre una esperienza visiva straordinaria, specialmente grazie all’eccellente accoppiamento con l’impiando Dolby Surround da due altoparlanti.
Alta definizione dunque, che non può ovviamente prescindere dal lettore Blu-ray, tuttavia è la dotazione complessiva a rendere il 5745G un esemplare quasi unico ed estremamente completo, grazie alla presenza di Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11n, webcam in HD ed un sensibilissimo touchpad multitouch con supporto alle gesture che non ha nulla da invidiare a quello dei MacBook Pro di Apple.
Tutto questo ha ovviamente un prezzo, fissato a 1.199 euro iva inclusa, che non è certamente a buon mercato ma che, in definitiva, potrebbe essere allettante se cercate un notebook dalle altissime performance in grado di sostituire un PC fisso..

I decided on an Acer becsuae they are one the world’s largest computer and computer component manufacturers, and having owned an old one previously (which has been proved to be very rugged).I decided that the ‘5735 spec was enough for me in reality it is very hard to resist spec creep’ ever upwards and ever more expensive.I have not been dissappointed at all; it has been a really good buy and excellent value for the money.The wide screen (16:9) is very useful as it enables you to have more usable, active open windows at the same time which I have found to be useful to my way of working. Also the wide screen means that the keyboard is pretty well full size and with a proper number pad to the RH side.The built-in webcam performs well and in pretty dark conditions too, overseas friends on Skype have commented on the clarity of picture.The WiFi has been proved to be good, I have never yet had a signal loss or drop out within our home!I think that battery life is over optimistic, I am sure it would not last the stated time, but seems adaquate and much better than my old laptop.I am not keen on the shiney plastic finish as this seems to attract/show any dust, but this seems to be a fashion with many others laptops too.Processing, memory and drive performance all seem more than fine (I haven’t got it to struggle at all yet) but I am not a games player so don’t need high-end graphics.Camera, MP3 player, card reader, and printer have all functioned perfectly on plug-in. Haven’t tried a scanner yet.Overall, a very satisfactory purchase.
